I've now stopped offering welded counterweight cranks and use these new one piece forgings in all my stock stroke engines.  | Berg Achiever crankshaft pulley (std diameter) The best quality crank pulley you can buy. Machined from billet steel and then silver nickel plated and dynamically balanced. Weighs 3.5lb (1.6kg). Fitted with hard anodized bonded on degree ring. Unlike some of the poorer quality aluminium pulleys, it won't crack or fall apart and won't cause oil leaks around the oil return groove. Also helps improve case life. Stock VW diameter - recommended for the vast majority of street engines.  | Berg HD crank pulley bolt
Don't use cheap Taiwnese chrome pulley bolts and washers: the concave washer turns inside out when you tighten it up, the chrome falls off and if you're really lucky, the bolt comes undone, the pulley comes off and wrecks your crankcase! Instead, buy one of these chromoly bolts. Comes with two concave washers. Torque it up to 70ftlbs and never worry about losing a pulley. | | |  |
