Cylinder tin
New twin port cylinder head tin. Pair in black
Oil cooler tin (2 piece)
Fits all doghouse fan shrouds and duct the air blown through the cooler out of the engine bay. Black
Cylinder head heat deflectors (pair)
Often left out or missing. If these aren't in place, you'll overheat cylinders 2 and 4. They help the heated air down and away from the engine.
Deflector plates
Essential. They must be fitted before the heads are installed. Leave them out and you'll cook the cylinders. Don't be tempted to use 'cool tins'. These are the real thing and are designed to work properly on upright Type 1 engines.
Dynamo/Alternator pulley nut and washer
Secures your top pulley in place.
Rear tin (no holes)
For engines with twin carbs and no heaters. Clean looks and no gaps for hot exhaust air to enter the engine bay. Black
Rear tin (with holes)
As above but has openings for heater hoses to be connected between heat exchangers and fanshroud. No cut outs for heat risers though, so it's designed to be used with twin carbs. Black
Front tin (flywheel end)
Fits around the bellhousing area and has the cut out for the oil cooler ducting. Black
Pulley tin
Genuine VW part - others just don't fit properly. Fits between the oil pump and crank pulley. Must be fitted to ensure the engine bay is sealed properly. Black
Fan mounting hardware
All the necessary pieces to mount your fan to the alternator/dynamo. Includes fan hub, woodruff key, washer and 36mm nut
Pulley shims
Use these to attain correct fan belt tension and/or shim the cooling fan to prevent fouling. each pack contains 10 shims. Price is per one pack.
Alternator pedestal
If you're upgrading from dynamo to alternator, you'll need one of these. Also fits dynamos. Stock appearance - not chrome.
Alternator strap
Secures your alternator or dynamo to the pedestal.
